Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a passionate and dedicated teacher, I’ve had the privilege of guiding young minds and witnessing their growth, both academically and personally. Over time, I’ve observed a growing need for mental health support among my students, many of whom face stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges that can significantly hinder their ability to learn and thrive.

I am reaching out for support to address this need by integrating essential mental health resources into our classroom.

Specifically, the funds raised will be used to acquire items such as stress-relief tools, calming toys, and mindfulness activities. These resources are crucial for helping students manage their emotions, build resilience, and enhance their focus.

The incentive items and calming tools included in this initiative will play a vital role in creating a safe and supportive learning environment. By equipping our classroom with these resources, we can foster a space where students feel secure, valued, and capable of overcoming their emotional hurdles.
