This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a dedicated teacher, I seek support to provide my high school students with an enriched financial literacy learning experience. By incorporating flexible classroom furniture, interactive sticky notes, insightful guest speaker sessions(YouTube), and comfortable bean bags, I aim to create a dynamic environment that engages various learning styles. I am requesting a range of chairs, bean bags, and a table to allow flexible seating options to encourage more participation in financial literacy! Other technology requests are for the class Promethean as the sound is so low only the front can hear it at max volume, and the wireless keyboard acks as a way for students to show others in the class their ideas or answers.

These supplies will allow me to organize collaborative activities where students can apply financial concepts practically, using sticky notes for visual aids, benefiting from expert speakers' real-world insights, and brainstorming ideas on bean bags for enhanced creativity.

This approach not only ensures effective learning but also cultivates essential life skills for responsible financial decision-making. Your support in acquiring these supplies would significantly contribute to my student's education and their future financial success.
