Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Since these courses are being offered for the first time at the school, the donations will be crucial in establishing a well-equipped learning environment from the start. I am working with a blank canvas and this foundation is essential for delivering high-quality education and ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed in their studies. With the right resources, students are more likely to be engaged and enthusiastic about learning.

My goals of this include:

1. Establishing a Fully Equipped Science Classroom and Sustaining It

2. Fostering Hands-On Learning

3. Promoting Scientific Literacy

4. Encouraging STEM Careers

Why My Students?

1. They are diverse and motivated.

2. They are pioneers of a New Program.

3. They have the potential for GREAT impact which can cause a ripple effect.

4. They are committed to learning.

In short, your support can transform our classroom into an engaging, hands-on learning environment for physical science and human anatomy. A pig anatomy kit with a dissecting set will allow students to explore real biological systems, while human anatomy model sets and a skeleton model will provide tangible references to deepen their understanding. An interactive periodic table will make learning elements dynamic and fun. Essential tools like a printer, whiteboard, and laminator will help create and preserve educational materials, ensuring lasting use. Cube storage organizers and utility carts will keep our classroom neat and accessible, while planners and bulletin board banners will enhance our organization and visual appeal. Interlocking building disks and their organizers will foster creativity and teamwork. With your help, we can inspire a new generation of scientists and health professionals by providing them with the best resources to succeed.
