Help me give my students an unforgettable creative workshop experience with their parents as well as making the family service office space more welcoming.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The family service team at EA creates family workshops for families to strengthen their bonds and develop social skills. Previous workshops we have done focused on family resilience and raising resilient children. By having workshops that focus on arts and crafts, families are able to bond through creativity while at the same time being able to manage their stress.
Every donation opens doors for our families to grow and learn new skills that they can potentially give back to our community.
The art supplies, books, and calming objects I'm seeking will contribute to different art projects. I hope to give our families that space to express themselves and also enjoy this time with their loved ones.
