The resources I am requesting will significantly enhance both teaching and learning experiences in several ways. First, these can enhance engagement in the classroom. The new resources will provide interactive tools and materials that make learning more engaging. I will use use some of these materials for student and teacher use such as the easel board for anchor charts and paper for art projects. Because I am a first year teacher in the classroom, I wanted to add a bookshelf to my classroom for a better, organized library experience for my students. The snacks that I am requesting will be used in our classroom store for students' classroom jobs. All other materials will be used for students who can't afford their own supplies and for myself as a first year teacher to not have to use my personal funds to purchase classroom things.
Second, I can integrate personalized learning.
With extra resources, teachers can adjust their lessons to fit different student needs. This includes using materials that match various learning styles and abilities, making it easier for all students to understand the content.
Lastly, I would have access to interactive supplies and teaching aids that make lesson planning easier and help manage diverse student needs.
My goal is to provide students with the maximum amount of resources possible so parents / guardians won't have to worry so much about their students needed materials and can focus on their academics. Coming from a community that has limited resources, being given this opportunity can help decrease stress on families.
My students are special because they are so hard-working and excited to learn something new every day. They are willing to be flexible and stay engaged in academics. They also love to interact with each other and build special bonds on our classroom.
