My Project

My name is Ms. Winston, and I have the privilege of teaching IB Film. Recently, my students and I were gifted an incredible Mac Mini, providing them with the opportunity to edit their film projects for the very first time. We are thrilled and deeply grateful for this transformative addition to our classroom.

To fully utilize this new resource, we are seeking support to complete our setup with a computer monitor, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Mouse.

These essential tools will allow students to edit videos and practice animating short films they create in class. The monitor will provide a larger, clearer workspace, while the keyboard and mouse will enable precise navigation of editing and animation software.

Our school serves Title I students, many of whom do not have access to advanced technology outside of school. Each day, my students work in groups of 4 to 5, learning storytelling, filming, and now editing. This setup will empower them to bring their creative visions to life, and will be the only one of its kind in our school.

Your donation will directly support students by providing them with professional-grade tools to complete their projects. The experience of editing and animating their own films will help them develop technical skills, foster creativity, and open doors to future opportunities in media and technology.
