My Project

I love my students because they are resilient, kind, and eager to learn. They come to school every day ready to face new challenges with determination and positivity, despite the obstacles they may face outside the classroom. What makes them truly special is their ability to support and uplift one another. They create a community where everyone belongs, and their ability to care for and encourage each other inspires me to give them everything they need to succeed.

Sometimes, an unexpected moment can turn a girl’s day upside down, like starting at school without supplies.

This experience can be overwhelming and distracting, making it hard to focus on learning. I can help these girls feel prepared, confident, and cared for by providing essential items. Teen pads offer security, ensuring they can stay comfortable throughout the day. Wipes allow them to freshen up quickly and discreetly. Chapstick is a small but thoughtful addition, reminding them to take care of themselves in a challenging moment. A sticker adds a little brightness to their day, and a small piece of chocolate provides a comforting boost of energy and joy.

This project is about more than meeting a practical need—it is about showing my students that their well-being matters. By providing these small but meaningful resources, I hope to remove a source of stress and help these young girls feel supported and valued. My students are growing into strong, independent individuals who inspire me daily with perseverance and kindness. This project will allow them to focus on what truly matters: their learning, dreams, and futures.
