My Project

This laptop will be a valuable tool in my speech and language therapy sessions by providing interactive learning, customizing materials for the variety of students I service, and software that can improve communicative skills! This will allow me to create differentiated materials and lessons, access videos and games that foster a more interactive learning environment, and access software and apps that are compatible with the MacBook that offer engaging exercises to improve articulation, fluency, comprehension, and other language based skills. This will also allow me to assist my older students that benefit from the use of speech-to-text software, conduct research for their curricular assignments, and improve their higher level writing/typing skills. Finally, with this laptop I will be a useful tool in documenting sessions and collaborating with parents/caregivers, teachers, and other providers to help students achieve both academic and communicative success.
