**About Your Project**

I am incredibly proud of my students, who demonstrate resilience, determination, and a commitment to excellence despite facing significant challenges.

At our school, 93% of students come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, yet they remain deeply invested in their education and extracurricular activities, including the Academic Decathlon Team. The Cricut machine bundle will make a tangible difference by allowing students to design and create custom sweaters for the Academic Decathlon. This opportunity will not only reduce the financial burden on families but also foster a sense of ownership, pride, and creativity. By engaging in the process of designing their team apparel, students will build skills in collaboration and design while reinforcing their connection to the team and school community.

The goal of this project is to inspire and motivate students by giving them the tools to express their identity as Academic Decathlon participants. Wearing their self-designed sweaters will instill a sense of pride and belonging, which translates into greater confidence during competitions and in their academic journey. What makes my students truly special is their determination to overcome obstacles and strive for success. Despite financial hardships, they take on the rigorous challenges of the Academic Decathlon, balancing this commitment with demanding academic schedules. Their ability to persist and excel is inspiring, and this project is a way to recognize and support their hard work.

This Cricut bundle will empower my students to proudly represent our school and celebrate their achievements in a meaningful, creative, and cost-effective way.
