Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our vibrant school community, where English is often a second language and resources are limited, our students shine as Health Ambassadors. They are passionate and engaged, actively seeking to improve the health and well-being of those around them. By learning CPR, they will gain vital skills that can save lives, instilling confidence and a sense of responsibility in their roles as community leaders.

The tablet we seek can support the effective performance of CPR on bluetooth mannequins.

The feedback provided can provide instructional guidance and feedback to give our students the training aids they need to perform high quality CPR. This will also enhance hands-on learning and ensure that all students can grasp the concepts effectively, regardless of language barriers as the tablet will give visual cues. These tools will provide practical experience and foster a deeper understanding of CPR techniques, empowering our students to teach their peers and families. As our Health Ambassadors are going to be training students throughout the school and community members through our up and coming community health fairs.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and resilience. Their determination to uplift their community and their enthusiasm for learning make them exceptional. They are not just students; they are future leaders committed to making a positive impact, demonstrating that even in the face of challenges, they can inspire change and save lives.
