Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our scholars are wonderful, creative, vocal, motivated, and determined to impact the world around them by using their voices and talents. The communications studio will empower our students to use their voices to fight for change within themselves, their community, and globally.

Our Equity Empowering Communication studio will focus on equipping our students to use their critical thinking and communication skills to have courageous conversations on social justice, diversity, equity, inclusion, race, gender, and issues impacting their communities.

The use of technology will help our students take skills learned within our classrooms and homes to partner with community-based organizations to do the work needed to impact local and global change! They will use the microphones, Surface Pros, pens, adapters, and keyboards to record and write shows, skits, and host collaborative courageous social justice conversations.

Our feature leaders will be the change that they want to see!
