My Project

As a dedicated teacher of 6th and 7th graders at Ralph J. Bunche Middle School, I am continuously inspired by my students' resilience, curiosity, and boundless potential. My students come from diverse backgrounds and face numerous challenges, yet they show up every day with a desire to learn and grow. What makes them special is their unwavering determination, creativity, and the sense of community they foster within our classroom.

To support their academic journey and overall well-being, I am requesting specific classroom supplies, snacks, and personal hygiene items.

These resources will significantly impact their learning experience and personal development.

Supplies like notebooks, pencils, and folders are essential for students to complete assignments, take notes, and stay organized. Having access to these materials will ensure that every student can participate fully in classroom activities and homework, promoting equity and academic success.

Many of my students come to school without having had a proper breakfast or lunch. Providing healthy snacks will help them stay focused and energized throughout the day, reducing hunger-related distractions and improving their ability to concentrate and learn.

Access to hygiene products such as deodorant, toothbrushes, and sanitary products is crucial for students' self-esteem and health. Ensuring that students feel clean and comfortable will allow them to engage more confidently in their studies and social interactions.

The goals for this project are to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students have the tools and resources they need to thrive. By addressing their basic needs and providing essential supplies, we can help them focus on their education and personal growth.
