My Project

I am a school-based Occupational Therapist. For many of my students, simple tasks like holding a pencil, opening a lunchbox, or tying their shoes can feel overwhelming. I work with children with visual impairments, Autism, ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy, and many of them have limited attention spans, so learning has to be fun, hands-on, and engaging. I use fine motor games to help them strengthen their pencil grasp for writing and develop bilateral coordination for everyday tasks, but I don’t have enough materials to keep them challenged and motivated. I also need a laminator because I often create my own games addressing each student's individual needs and worksheets for practicing drawing and tracing. My goal is to make practicing these essential skills enjoyable so that frustration doesn’t hold them back. My students are determined, capable, and full of potential—they just need the right support to help them succeed. With your generosity, I can provide them with tools that turn frustration into progress and give them the confidence to tackle new challenges every day.
