Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are excited to share an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our special needs students' educational experience.

Our classroom is dedicated to providing these amazing students with the tools they need to excel, but we need your help to ensure they have the right equipment to succeed.

1. **Wireless Keyboard & Mouse:** Our students often struggle with the subpar quality of state-provided laptops. By connecting these laptops to a larger space monitor with a wireless keyboard and mouse, students can type more comfortably and navigate their assignments with greater ease. This setup allows them to interact with their work in a more efficient and less frustrating way.

2. **Laptop Holder & Desk Mat:** A laptop holder will ensure students have an ergonomic setup, reducing strain and discomfort during extended study sessions. The desk mat will provide a smooth and organized workspace, making it easier for students to focus and stay organized.

3. **Thermal Printer: This innovative tool will allow us to create custom stickers from key images and study materials. These stickers can be placed directly into students' notebooks, making important information more accessible and engaging. By visually reinforcing key concepts, students can better retain and apply what they learn.

By providing these tools, we aim to foster greater independence and confidence in our students. The enhanced equipment will help them tackle their assignments with improved efficiency and reduce barriers caused by inadequate technology.
