This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Donating flexible seating, snacks, and decor to the student lounge and study hall renovation at our high school will directly impact the lives of our hardworking students. Located on the campus of one of the oldest schools in Brooklyn, our facilities are in desperate need of upgrades.

Despite sharing the campus with five other schools, our students maintain a 95% graduation rate and include some of the nation's top athletes.

However, many of our students live in shelters or are recent immigrants, and finding a quiet, dedicated space for studying or taking a much-needed break is challenging. Your donation will help create a supportive environment where all students can thrive academically and personally.
