This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
In our 6th grade AVID class, paper is not just a supply—it's an essential tool that drives our learning experiences. With 220 eager students, we regularly engage in activities that require ample paper. Whether it's creating interactive notebooks, brainstorming during quick writes, or collaborating on group projects, paper plays a central role in helping students process and present their ideas. Unfortunately, printer paper is limited. This paper shortage will force me to cut back on valuable activities that will help my students build organizational skills, enhance their creativity, and express their thoughts clearly.
By securing a consistent supply of printer paper and color paper, we can ensure that all our students have the materials they need to succeed.
The printer paper will be used for quick writes, printed handouts, and practice exercises, while the color paper will add vibrancy to projects, helping students visually organize information and create meaningful presentations.
Your generous contribution will allow me to create an environment where students can fully engage in their learning without the worry of running out of paper. Together, we can empower our AVID scholars to reach their full potential and develop the skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.
Thank you for considering our project and supporting the future success of our students!
