My Project

Executive Functioning Skills...the ability to plan, organize and initiate solutions, are learned skills.

I have the privilege of teaching special education students these necessary skills in their journey toward adulthood.

To focus their awareness and energy immediately in the right direction and to replicate the employee experience they will have, students will clock in and out of class for their 'work shift'. Understanding employment expectations easily translates to a multitude of environments, including the classroom. Using an employment model for instruction assists students in possessing a frame of reference for those same expectations from their teachers (supervisors).
