My Project

Please help my amazing exceptional emotional support students in an inner-city school get sensory needs in order to teach them how to regulate their emotions. My students k-8 aren't able to express their emotions in ways that they need due to the limited space around our school building. These items will help them learn different coping strategies in order to be safe active members of the community.

These items will allow students the chance to re-set after an escalated moment to reintegrate themselves back into their classroom setting to learn to their full potential.

The use of the sensory tent, magnetic blocks, and sensory sock allows students who need sensory input to receive those needs. The use of the punching bag and weighted ball allow students who need to release sensory needs the opportunity to do so.
