My Project

An emotional support weighted plushie will offer my students comfort and security in moments of stress or anxiety. Its gentle weight offers a soothing, grounding sensation that helps ease tension and promotes focus. For students who deal with emotional dysregulation, the plushie can be a vital tool to help manage overwhelming feelings. Each day, students can hold or rest their heads against the plushie during breaks or moments of emotional overload. It will offer a quiet, tangible way to manage emotions, creating a safe space in the classroom. With its warm, inviting presence, the plushie becomes not just a tool, but a companion that provides peace, helping students navigate their emotions more effectively.
