This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I'm requesting, will significantly enhance my students' learning experiences in several ways.

**1.

Impact on Learning:**

- **Gloves for Science Projects:** These are essential for ensuring safety and inclusivity during hands-on experiments, particularly for students with disabilities who may have sensitivities or specific needs when handling materials. By providing gloves, all students can fully participate in experiments, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can engage with the material directly.

- **Science STEM Kit:** The STEM kit will offer hands-on learning opportunities that cater to various learning styles, including those of students with disabilities. These kits will help demystify complex concepts through interactive, tactile experiences, making science more accessible and engaging for all students.

**2. Goals for This Project:**

My primary goal is to create an inclusive learning environment where all students, regardless of their abilities, can fully engage with the curriculum. By integrating these materials into my classroom, I aim to:

- Enhance the safety and accessibility of science experiments.

- Support the emotional and social development of my students.

- Foster a love for STEM through interactive, hands-on learning experiences.

**3. What Makes My Students Special:**

My students are incredibly diverse, with a range of abilities, backgrounds, and learning needs. Many of them have disabilities that require tailored support to ensure they can participate fully in classroom activities. Despite these challenges, they are curious, eager to learn, and resilient. They bring unique perspectives to our classroom, and it's my mission to provide them with the tools they need to thrive academically and emotionally. These materials will not only support their academic growth but will also help them build confidence and a sense of belonging in our classroom community.
