My Project

For students in my emotional support classroom, regulating their bodies and emotions can be very overwhelming and challenging when participating in preferred activities let alone in academics. These items will help them regulate and gain a deeper understanding of their emotions.

The games and fidgets are excellent motivators for students who struggle coping with their emotions and finding things to look forward to.

The SEL workbooks will allow me to provide them with more resources and hands-on activities to create concrete representations of social emotional themes. The timers will allow students to feel more prepared for transitions, cutting down on lost instructional time. The lap desk will help students comfortably complete their work in one of the flexible seating areas.

Not everyone is able to easily cope with their feelings and live up to their full potential. These items will allow my students to be more regulated and learn how to cope with their emotions inside and outside of my classroom so that they will be prepared for life and be able to achieve their goals.
