Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The yoga balls, adjustable desks, and snacks I am requesting will make a meaningful difference in my students’ learning by creating a more comfortable and engaging classroom environment. Yoga balls will encourage movement and active sitting, helping my students improve focus, build core strength, and stay engaged. Adjustable desks will give them the flexibility to sit or stand, promoting better posture and reducing restlessness, which is especially helpful for those who struggle with attention. Providing snacks will ensure that my students have the energy and nourishment they need to stay focused and ready to learn throughout the day. By incorporating these resources, I can create a classroom that supports my students’ diverse needs and helps them succeed.

My goal for this project is to create a learning space that promotes focus, movement, and well-being.

I want to provide my students with flexible seating options that allow them to choose how they work best, making them feel more comfortable and in control of their learning. By ensuring that they have access to nutritious snacks, I can help eliminate hunger as a distraction and support their overall health. Ultimately, my goal is to foster an environment where my students feel valued, motivated, and fully engaged in their education.

My students are special because they are resilient, curious, and eager to learn, no matter the challenges they face. Many of my students thrive in hands-on, interactive learning experiences, and I want to give them the tools they need to stay engaged and succeed. Whether it’s the ability to move while they work, a comfortable space to focus, or the security of knowing they won’t be hungry during the day, I want to provide my students with the best possible learning environment so they can reach their full potential.
