Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I firmly believe that with the right resources and support, these students have immense potential to thrive. By acquiring flexible seating options, such as a beanbag chair, as well as sensory toys and emotional control items, I aim to foster an atmosphere that promotes self-regulation, mindfulness, and active learning. These specialized tools and headphones will help my students develop crucial social-emotional skills, enabling them to better manage their emotions and stay focused during instructional time. Additionally, investing in these resources will demonstrate to my students that their well-being is a top priority, which I believe will cultivate a stronger sense of trust, belonging, and engagement. Ultimately, my overarching goal is to empower these remarkable young minds, equipping them with the tools and skills they need to achieve academic success and become confident, well-rounded individuals. With your support, I am confident that I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of my students and help them reach their full potential.
