Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students teach challenge and inspire me daily. They are more amazing and capable than they realize. My goal is to designing new challenges to inspire them and provide a wide variety of opportunities.

Brooklyn students with a variety of needs Inclusively programmed to work together learning to code.

Students in grades 6, 7, and 8 work together to solve problems and help each other make progress.

We held our third school hackathon this year and competed in an NYC Game Jam with G4C. We had a great time competing and look forward to improving our performance, and diversifying our coding languages.

My Project

One week of intensive training with teachers from all over the country will not only provide me with the necessary skills to support my students, it will also create a cohort of supportive team members who will reflect, rethink, and brainstorm new ideas throughout the coming year.

Robotics will encourage hands-on learning to make creative problem-solving concrete and tangible.

It will inspire students as they develop the fundamental skills of collaboration and persistence giving them the tools to imagine and innovate the future. Robotics will create learning opportunities that encourage a meaningful shift toward 21st-century learning.
