This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My English Language Learners range in ability. The students who are considered newcomers have the biggest desire to learn English and work on their reading skills. They love working on programs that introduce new words and concepts to them. Most of the programs require them to have a headset with a microphone so they can practice their speaking skills.

In addition to having the headsets with microphones for practice, all of the ESL students need them for their annual WIDA test, which determines if they can exit the ESL program.

I want my students to have the tools they need to grow in their language skills.
