My Project

Recently, we introduced a listening center with my personal Tonie Box from home. My students absolutely loved getting to listen to stories read by various readers, authors and celebrities. I decided to use my school budget to buy two Yoto Players to enhance this love of read alouds and to enhance their use of expression when reading themselves.

This is an integral part of our reading centers and the students are always excited to hear a new story or do an author study.

I know with more choices, their literacy will only grow. We also purchased aux cord splitters so that multiple students can listen to the same story and enjoy a shared reading experience.

Please help expand our Yoto Player library and allow our students to escape to another world through various sets of stories and cards.
