My Project

Both of our 2nd grade classrooms could use a few items to help our students extend their learning. We are hoping to provide our students with geoboards, an engaging phonics activity and dispenser for our 'special' pencils.

We could use additional geoboards to complete a class set, this way all students have a geoboard to explore geometry.

Also, an engaging phonics activity including Elkonin sound boxes can help students develop phonemic awareness. This activity allows students to focus on segmenting and blending the sounds in words. Lastly, both of our classrooms would like to have a pencil dispenser for our 'special' pencils we distribute to students. These pencils are fun and motivational, students love them!
