My Project

This grant will facilitate hands-on learning in graphic design and printing techniques, providing our students with practical skills and real-world applications. We will purchase three heat presses so that students can apply graphics to a variety of materials including shirts, tumblers, and caps. This project will impact 200 students in 6-8 grade. Students are eager to learn the field of Graphic Design. I would also like my students to create art for our sports, clubs, and activities in our school.

Digital printing is the process of printing digital-based images directly onto a variety of media substrates.

I would like to add this technique to my classroom for our art students. This project will allow me to teach my students how to create art and turn their art into digital files such as PDF and PNG images. Take those images and print them onto transfer paper and finally transfer the image to several different materials. Students will be able to bring their designs to life with vibrant colors and exceptional detail, create personalized items, and explore new avenues of creativity by printing on various materials like fabric, wood, leather, ceramics, glass, and more. Our project aims to empower students with a creative outlet while also introducing them to the technology that is increasingly used in the industry.
