My Project

Working on the floor has become a catalyst for acquiring essential life skills, such as time management, self-discipline, and effective communication. I have become adept at advocating for what they need to succeed, be it a change in their learning environment or additional resources. This newfound ability to articulate their requirements empowers them in their academic pursuits and in preparing for future challenges they may encounter.

Allowing students to choose where they work instills a sense of autonomy and control over their learning environment.

The floor becomes a canvas for exploration, allowing students to find the setting that suits them best. This element of choice empowers them to take charge of their education, fostering a sense of responsibility for their academic endeavors.

Acknowledging my students' diverse needs and preferences is essential for creating an inclusive learning space. I have seen this approach work with remarkable student effort and skill development results. Observing my students as they diligently work on the floor, it is evident that they have embraced this alternative setting and developed a commendable work ethic. They have learned to navigate the challenges of independent learning, honing skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Allowing students to work on the floor is more than a departure from conventional norms; it is a commitment to fostering a culture of student agency and personalized learning.
