My Students

Our school has about 240 students who study from 3K to 5th grade. Most of them are African American and Hispanic children. Most of them come from low-income families.

They are nice and respectful when they interact with other people.

They smile at people when they meet people in the morning. Some of them are struggling in math and English, but they work very hard to overcome the challenges. It is my pleasure to be their teacher in the school this year.

My Project

Many students choose to come to school to continue their education, although the coronavirus infection rate is surging. They love to meet their teachers and classmates in person. Many of them love robots and coding. Because of the requirement of social distancing, students can't share robots with others. The computer lab has few LEGO robots but not enough for all students. When they assemble and program LEGO robots, they pay their full attention to the tasks. They are eager to finish building their robots and then program their robots. They want to show their achievement to their parents. They want their parents to be proud of what they learn in school. Please help my students get more LEGO robots. Help my students to achieve their technology education goals. Thank you.
