My Project

We are looking to obtain basketballs to help improve our girls and boys basketball club. At the moment we have 15 basketballs for a group of 25 students. The balls that we do have are varied in sizes. Some are too big for our students. The balls are over 10 years old and do not have any more grip on them and are tearing at the seams. The new basketballs would help our students dribbling, passing, and shooting skills. We are a small title 1 elementary school and have a morning basketball club that takes place for an hour before school starts. This is the only physical activity that some of these students get. The students who participate love coming in to play and benefit from the physical activity mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. Please help us improve our program with these basketballs so our students can continue to play. Thank you.
