My Project

I work at a low-income school where many families are experiencing homelessness. I provide support with essential needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.

Additionally, I have created a safe and calming space for students to seek comfort when they are upset, and I use positive affirmations and rewards to encourage their growth.

As the school counselor, I am trying to help students be successful in school despite their living conditions and food insecurities. The materials requested (vacuum cleaner, snacks, fidget toys, etc.) will make a meaningful difference for the students at my school. I appreciate any help offered. Thank you!
