This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are thrilled to introduce an innovative collaboration between our culinary department and the performing arts, centered around a dinner show inspired by "Alice in Wonderland." This project will engage students in both culinary arts and theater, offering unique hands on activities that merges creativity with hospitality skills.

Our culinary team will craft a delightful dining experience, utilizing funds to provide essential linens, serving platters, and pitchers.

This not only enhances the aesthetic of our event but also gives students practical experience in food service and presentation, cultivating their skills in a real-world setting.

At our school, many students come from low-income backgrounds and may not have access to culinary training outside the classroom. This project provides them with an invaluable opportunity to learn the art of service and presentation while participating in a vibrant theatrical production.

By equipping our students with high-quality materials, we create an enchanting atmosphere that complements the whimsical theme of "Alice in Wonderland." This initiative fosters teamwork, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for culinary arts, empowering students to take pride in their contributions.
