My Project

My students are 50 amazing kindergarten to 3rd graders, some diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. In my classes, I use technology, creativity, and enthusiasm to create motivation for communication and learning.

My students are incredibly creative and love technology.

As a literacy teacher, I rotate between 7 classrooms. An iPad designated for my class allows me to consistently provide access to the educational apps and technology that are so much fun and so motivating for my students throughout the period. Additionally, I would be able to use commercially available apps as a support for non-verbal communication with my emerging speakers, as well.
