This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have been playing the guitar in class using classical guitars. However, after a few years, many of my students have become proficient enough to be ready to stand on a stage and perform for peers. Unfortunately, in our performance space, the classical guitar does not project enough nor does it fit the music choices of some of our students. These electric guitars will give the students a new instrument to learn as well as a good quality instrument that does not have problems cheaper guitars have. These kits have everything needed to play, so we won't have to wait for another Donor Choose project to be funded to perform!
