This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am seeking your generous support for my classroom project, ELD Support, which aims to enhance English Language Development (ELD) for my diverse group of students. My students, primarily from Black and Latino backgrounds, are eager to improve their language skills, and I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

To make this possible, I am requesting the following items:

Apple TV: This will allow me to seamlessly cast my iPad to our Promethean board, providing interactive lessons that engage students in visual and auditory learning.

Chair: A comfortable chair will help me work with small ELD groups, providing more focused instruction.

Rolling Cart: This cart will help me organize and store small group materials, allowing for smoother transitions between activities.

Ink for Class Printer: Having access to printed materials is crucial for creating resources tailored to my students' unique needs.

Books: A class set and teacher resources will support literacy and language acquisition, offering rich content for vocabulary building and comprehension practice.

Headphones: Headphones will make testing more comfortable and focused for students, minimizing distractions and enhancing their performance.
