My Project

Many kindergarten students come into school not knowing how to write. Handwriting is a struggle during the beginning to middle of the school year. These white boards will help my students to learn to write their letters and complete whole group activities. Using the two sided whiteboards will help my students by giving them ample time to be able to practice writing letters and numbers. We can use the whiteboards during whole group, small group, and independent work times.

Social studies and science always takes a back burner to reading and math.

My school does not have a social studies curriculum. It is very hard to find resources that are free to do with my students. The "Let's Find Out" magazines will allow me to teach my students about different topics like citizenship, holidays, cultures, laws, seasons, the earth, weather, and space.
