My Students

Worrying about food, money, transportation, and clothing are adult worries, yet many of the students at my school face these "grown-up" problems each day. In spite of the challenges they face, they constantly rise to the occasion and frequently blow me away with their abilities to learn.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Some have, and some do not. It is my job to level their playing field so that all have a chance to be successful. Through hands-on, exciting, and active assessment, all students in my 3rd grade, inner-city classroom prove themselves time and time again. They are so eager to please and perform in a way that shows off all that they know. Interactive tools such as the Wireless Eggspert will only aide them further in showing off their abilities.

My Project

The Wireless Eggspert game will be used for a variety of learning experiences. Students will use them in whole group and cooperation group settings. With the extra sets of hand held buzzers I am requesting, all students will be engaged at the same time rather than waiting on their turn. I will create review games that invite higher level thinking skills into the learning as well as prepare them for classroom, district, and state-wide assessments. We need this tool!!!

My kids are the best!
