My Project

Materials included in this project will allow my students to participate in the exciting experience of embryology first-hand. Students will get to observe as the ducks begin to develop inside of their eggs, hatch, and help care for the ducklings once they hatch.

Experiencing this part of the lifecycle in a hands-on way will make this unit more meaningful and exciting for students.

The incubator will be used to incubate the duck eggs until they hatch. The heat lamp and duckling feed will be used within the brooder box to keep the ducklings warm as they continue to develop.
