My Project

Being in an environment where the language and culture are unfamiliar can be extremely stressful for students.

As a way to effectively communicate with students, as a healthcare provider regarding healthcare needs, a translation tool can improve communication, health outcomes, and rapport among students and their families.

The health of students are vital to their wellbeing, learning outcomes and success. Effectively communicating in a meaningful and timely manner with students and their families can improve attendance, overall health and maintain chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes in the school setting.
