My Students

"A grape bunch!" What a fitting description for my students! Having taught them this last year in the fourth grade, I am delighted to have them back again for their final year in elementary school. My students are defined by the effort they give each and every day.

This past year they have shown their willingness and determination to overcome challenges borne of their disabilities, to achieve wonderful academic success.

I could not be prouder of their results.

One of the things that is most admirable about my students is their generosity, their willingness to share and help one another. I have seen them carrying one another's bags, sharing their lunches encouraging one another when the work gets more intense and engaging in great peer activities. Their passion for learning positively impacts mine for teaching. Nothing makes me happier than to see my "grape bunch" enthusiastic about learning.

My Project

Ours is an inquiry based curriculum and students are constantly engaged in research. The copy paper will allow them to print their projects and research papers in a timely fashion. The markers, tape scissors and post its will help my students to create beautiful experience charts. I will be able to use the compartment to organize my students' homework. Sharpened Pencils will be ready on demand, while the pencil sharpener will make borrowing a thing of the past.

It is imperative for my students to be unhampered by missing supplies so that they can fully participate in the learning process.
