Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will allow me to provide resources and rewards to each of my students as they move into summer. My class has Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten students and they have all be working so hard this year. The items I have selected will encourage my students to keep learning, reading and writing over the summer.

These "gifts" would help give each of my students some joyful educational materials of their very own.

I want to reward my students for their hard work this year. They would each receive a book with a class photo and note from myself in it. We use finger flashlights to read together in our classroom and it increases interest and engagement. The Sharpies will be used to write the notes, as well as create an individualized gift for each student on the card stock and then laminated.

Lastly, I think that all students deserve to feel special and celebrating and wrapping materials like gift bags and key chain decoration will help do this. Please help make the end of the year and the summer extra special for my students.
