Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Join me in my quest to make my classroom more visually engaging for my humanities students. I know how well my students respond to visual aids and resources in lessons, and I believe these educational posters will further stimulate their interest in our social studies curriculum.

I envision creating a visual border, around the top of my classroom walls, to serve as a timeline of our journey through the history of the United States.

With that in mind, I have selected educational posters that reflect our social studies units and themes: the Thirteen Colonies, the American Revolution, the founding of the American Government, Westward Expansion, and the Civil War.

I have selected posters that are colorful, well-designed, and promise to pique and retain students' interest. Please help me liven up our classroom environment and appeal to my visual learners with these important teaching tools.
