Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students of all ages learn well through socialization and play! The specific games chosen are geared towards building phonics and vocabulary for my lower-level ESL students, as well as building questioning skills and critical thinking skills for my upper-level students.

My goal for this project is to provide a fun and engaging way for students to learn.

These games provide a break from rote memorization and worksheet-driven test prep. I would like to inspire students to be more creative and foster a life-long love of learning through play.

Many of my students are still learning the English language and come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds. Many do not have access to books or educational games at home. Please help me expose my students to educational games and demonstrate to them that learning can be an enjoyable experience!
