My Project

This is an exciting opportunity to bring hands-on learning and nutritional education to students in our high-need community.

Our proposed project, Ecosystem Growing Project to Bring Our Classroom to Life, aims to establish a classroom garden and animal habitat, providing a unique platform for students to explore science, nutrition, and the environment.

Objectives:

1. Enhance STEM education through hands-on experiences with plant and animal care.

2. Foster nutritional awareness and understanding of an ecosystem.

3. Cultivate responsibility, teamwork, and environmental stewardship.

4. Provide access to fresh produce and skills in growing.

Project Components:

1. Classroom Garden: Hydroponics or container gardening system - Variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs - Soil, tools, and irrigation system

2. Animal Habitat: Aquarium-terrarium for fish or small animals (e.g., bearded dragon, crickets) - Food, supplies, and veterinary care

3. Educational Materials: Books detailing projects we can complete in class!
