Why use tons of paper when you can write again and again with dry erase supplies? Schools waste so much paper and many pencils. We recycle our paper but it would be better if we could have less waste. It would be great to be able to reuse a writing surface rather than toss out tons of paper. Dry erase supplies are not only great for the environment, they are fun to use. I often ask students to take out a sheet of paper to figure out a math problem, practice handwriting, and for reviewing spelling. These papers usually get tossed in the bin when students are done with them. It would be so much better if students could just take out a dry erase board, do the assignment and then erase it when done. We need individual boards that are small enough for students to keep in their desks with their books. I can just as easily review a students work on a board as a piece of paper. I teach lessons to my students about respecting our environment. Dry erase boards would be a great way for one class at a time to make a small difference. With your help we can be one of those classes.
