This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help us be an Eco-Friendly classroom. Students want to help and support their community. We currently use Plastic gallon baggies to take home books and other materials. Students would love to help our community and not contribute to climate change. We have to constantly replace these plastic book baggies because they don't last.
Students love to borrow and take home books so they can continuously practice and build upon their reading skills.
They enjoy reading books, which will help develop their reading fluency and comprehension skills. They go book shopping on a weekly basis and use gallon baggies that are not eco-friendly for the environment. We want to be green and use less plastic. Please help us to support our planet by using less plastic in the classroom and instead using reusable baggies. Thank you so much for all your support in helping our classroom go green and contribute to our community!
