My Project

As the Solar Eclipse is upon us, it is also a once in a lifetime opportunity for our students to view this incredible event, one they will remember and hopefully inspire them to explore STEM careers.

Our students are curious, intelligent, and eager to learn.

They are also creative and leaders of their own learning. While the eclipse is a great teaching moment in science, teaching safety is also a main component of science instruction, and protecting our students' eyes is our main priority during the eclipse.

Prior to the eclipse, students will be learning about the sun and moon phases and the different types of eclipses. After the eclipse, students will be summarizing their notes and write a CER essay (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) to present to their classmates and other classrooms.

Please help us inspire our students by providing them glasses and allowing them to safely view the eclipse.
