My Students

My classroom is affected by the coronavirus pandemic in many ways. My students are special needs students and learning from home is difficult for them especially learning online. My students are loving kids who come from low-income households. My classroom has students with many different learning styles.

My students would benefit from an easel in many different ways.

As I am at home teaching, I spend a lot of time teaching in a whole group setting. The easel will serve as a visual aid for all my students to learn the concept at hand. Instead of just hearing me teach about a concept the students will see me model it as well. The easel will also benefit every child in my class.

My Project

Students will have a valuable teaching tool. The easel will allow the students to remain focused during instruction. They will be taught step by step so they will better understand and practice the skill being taught.

It is my desire to reach each student in my class during this period.

So after I model, students will be able to go to their notebooks and practice the skill taught. Each student therefore will have the opportunity to use the resources they have at hand to help them to be engaged and complete their task.
