My Students

Math time is our time to be hands on, to explore and to be inquisitive!

We are a class of kindergarten dual language learners!

We strive everyday to learn as much as we can in both English and in Spanish. Any opportunity we have to be hands on and get our hands dirty in the subject matter is our favorite time of day. We are energetic, bubbly and inquisitive - three qualities we hope to never lose!

My Project

These ten frames, count and link and adding math manipulatives will help us really internalize number sense and geometric shapes. In small groups, my students will be able to touch, manipulate and learn using these hands on resources. The materials will be used to not only help teach the curriculum through small group centers, but to also help expand growing minds. We will be able to actually touch and feel our 3-D shapes, use objects to learn how to count and how to add and manipulate tens frames.

Donations to our classroom always help improve the room in so many ways.

For starters, it helps our classroom resources grow allowing us to learn in many different capacities. However it also helps boost morale! Knowing that so many people care about our classroom is an incredible feeling and a superb lesson for my students.
